Success for Arinex at MEA Virtual Awards

Arinex was honoured to receive three national awards at the Meeting & Events Australia (MEA) National Awards in an events first via virtual format – Professional Conference Organisation (PCO) of the Year; Association Event of the Year (Kellee Butterworth); Platinum Award for the Event Company of the Year.

It is the eighth consecutive year the events management company has won MEA’s PCO of the Year after securing the title in 2006-2008 (Hall of Fame) and 2012-2014 (Hall of Fame) and for the last two years in 2018 and 2019.

Kellee Butterworth said that winning Association Event of the Year for AGOSCI was the most emotionally rewarding conference Arinex Perth had delivered. “We walked away inspired by the people who face daily challenges yet are so happy and gifted.”

The MEA National Awards took place for the first time in a virtual format on Friday 29 May 2020, and were attended by staff members from Arinex’ Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney offices, albeit from home with a wider audience over 500.

Nicole Walker, CEO of Arinex, said it was fantastic to see the team’s hard work recognised and thanked fellow industry partners and colleagues for their ongoing friendship and support. Nicole thanked all the Arinex clients for entrusting Arinex with their events, along with key partners for continually achieving and exceeding expectations.

“We enter awards to win but when your name is announced it is quite surreal and you feel honoured and proud to be part of such incredible industry expertise. It has been a challenging year for our industry. Congratulations to MEA on this re-imagined virtual event that has allowed us to celebrate the success stories. We are very grateful for your hard work and dedication to our industry.”
