Geelong & Great Ocean Road

Geelong is a 1 hour drive from Melbourne and boasts a beautiful esplanade and bay views. Geelong is the launch location for your experience of the 12 Apostles, get up close to native wildlife, and take in iconic surf breaks, pristine rainforest and misty waterfalls along the spectacular Great Ocean Road.

The Great Ocean Road is an Australian National Heritage listed 243-kilometre stretch of road stretching between Torquay and Warrnambool. It is a 5 hour drive one way along the coastline, but if you want to explore stay in one of the many hotels, resorts or parks along the way.

Spacious, beautifully designed and ideally situated at the start of the Great Ocean Road, the RACV Torquay Resort is an award-winning destination. Enjoy the championship golf course, or step outside the comfort of the room and sample one of three exquisite dining outlets before your flight over the 12 apostles.

The best way to experience the Great Ocean Road is by helicopter. Dramatic 60-metre cliffs tower above the ocean with the limestone stacks of the 12 Apostles standing resolutely out at sea. This spectacular section of coastline hosts numerous unique coastal landmarks and photo opportunities.
