Denisa Adamova
National Conference Operations Manager

Denisa is a graduate from the University of Technology in Sydney, and has extensive international event and conference experience. She previously worked for a professional conference organiser in Europe, before joining arinex in 2005. Since then, she has been a strategic member of the arinex team, overseeing some of arinex's most prestigious events and working her way up to her current role of Conference Operations Manager.

Denisa's career highlights include managing a number of industry award-winning conferences such as the 16th Annual V.M. Goldschmidt Conference and the 5th Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry World Congress.

Denisa's international skills and experience provide her with an in-depth understanding of conference operations, which she translates into tangible benefits for our clients and the project teams she manages.


Nicole Barbarich
General Manager, Operations WA

After completing her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Western Australia, Nicole received a federal government scholarship to undertake post-graduate study at Sophia University in Tokyo. She fell in love with Japan and spent the next five years based in Tokyo working for Sony Music in international A&R marketing. Working on large international touring and recording projects led to a passion for travel and project management that continued after her return to Australia.

Nicole brings to arinex over 14 years of experience in the Australian travel and events industry, most recently holding the position of national manager of events for a large travel management company.

With extensive experience in events of all sizes and across six continents, Nicole is committed to service excellent and exceeding client expectations.


Paul Boustani, AFMEA
Manager, Corporate Operations

Paul has a comprehensive background in corporate special events, spanning over a decade. Having managed many high profile events ranging from boutique dinners through to themed parties for 3000, Paul has built an intricate knowledge of national suppliers and services to complement his creative expertise.

Paul's focus is on meeting each arinex client's event objectives using creativity, strong budget management and his in-depth knowledge of suppliers. He leads a team that continually produces a fantastic range of creative and special events ensuring the final result is not only spectacular, but also an end-to-end success.

Paul has a true dedication and passion for the industry and delights in ensuring each and every client receives that all important "wow" factor.


Anne Camenzind
Manager, Conference Operations NSW

Anne Camenzind

Anne has over 20 years of experience in the business events industry, in both operations and management roles, including a long tenure with arinex in conference management and business development. She has also worked in the not-for-profit sector, most recently as general manager of operations and sponsorship for the meetings industry association.

Anne brings a wide range of skills to her role of Best Practice Manager to ensure excellence of conference delivery across the entire company. She works closely alongside the project teams and business unit managers to deliver a high standard of quality services, products and integrated solutions for each client.

Anne's wide breadth of understanding and hands-on experience in the meetings industry enables her to continuously raise the quality of arinex's service delivery.


Peter Clark
General Manager, Sales and Marketing WA

Peter was born and educated in England and worked in the arts and banking industries before moving to Western Australia eleven years ago. Since moving to Perth, Peter has worked in management positions for a well known FMCG and also a training/recruitment company.

Before starting with arinex in January 2011, Peter spent five years as a state manager for an international conference/seminar and computer training provider.

During the last five years, Peter has successfully assisted national and international clients with their conferencing requirements and has been recognised for his exceptional customer service levels and attention to detail.


Monique English, AFMEA
Manager, Commercial Projects

After completing a Bachelor of Hospitality Management from University of Western Sydney, Monique headed up the arinex accommodation and housing business unit for six years before moving into our commercial projects role. Today, she sees her skills in negotiations and relationship building used across the entire company in her position working alongside our managing director on commercial projects.

Critical to Monique's success is her belief in establishing key relationships and strong communication channels with suppliers and clients on a national level.


Chris Frawley
Manager, Human Resources

Chris Frawley

Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Business, majoring in human resource management from the Australian Catholic University in 2003. Since then, he has gained a wide range of international experience in corporate HR, as a recruitment consultant in accounting and financial services in Sydney and the UK, and as an HR professional with a top tier law firm.

Today, Chris oversees the human resources business unit at arinex, which manages staff recruitment, training and development, performance management and strategic management support.

Chris is a hands-on manager that ensures that the most important resource in arinex, our staff, receive quality support and development to provide an intrinsic benefit for our clients and stakeholders.


Shannon Handley
Manager, Accommodation and Delegate Services

Shannon Handley

Shannon leads the arinex Accommodation business unit, and brings to the company an in-depth understanding of the hotels industry in Australia and New Zealand. She completed a business degree, majoring in hospitality management, from the University of Western Sydney, before commencing a graduate position with Rydges Hotels and Resorts.

Shannon's dedication and leadership capabilities led to numerous roles in operations and revenue management in various hotels, including the Mantra group, before she returned to Rydges to head up their regional revenue management in Queensland.

Shannon is a personable and dedicated team leader, whose strength in developing strong relationships with key hotels and resorts regularly results in the best conditions for our clients.


Mike Loft
General Manager, Queensland

Mike has extensive experience in the travel and events industry spanning over 21 years. During his career he has developed a broad range of skills and expertise having held operations, account management, sales, marketing and general management roles for national and multi-national organisations in both Australia and New Zealand.

He joined arinex in January 2011 as General Manager for Queensland, having previously led the business events department of a large corporate travel company. His role encompasses overall responsibility for the local operations, client relationships and business development.

Mike's breadth of experience, client focus and hands on approach is valuable to our team and ensures lasting, successful relationships with customers.


Eithne Maddern
Manager, Technology

Eithne graduated with a BEng (Hons) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from University of Surrey, UK. Eithne came to arinex after ten years in the semiconductor industry where she grew from front line technical support engineering to managing a senior support team, gaining experience in customer service, management and sales.

Eithne oversees the business aspect of our Technology team, looking after the sales and development of our technological product and service offering. This also involces delivering a highly reliable service to ensure virtually 100% uptime of systems, remote access to systems from around the globe using multiple technologies, servicing all client needs both during the planning stages and on site.

Eithne uses her engineering background to bring a very systematic and detailed planning process to her department's activities to ensure efficiency of IT and AV products.


Sonja Soderbom, AFMEA
Manager, Corporate Client Relations

Sonja has been working in the tourism industry for over 15 years and this experience includes a role at the Tourism Australia office in London. Sonja joined arinex in 1999 in the conference division and now looks after client relations for our corporate events and incentives business unit.

Sonja's intricate knowledge of the industry has been derived from managing an extensive range of high profile incentive and conference tour programs. Her track record includes managing programs alongside the 2000 Sydney Olympics, the 2006 Commonwealth Games, the World Congress on Pain, and the 2008 Transplantation Congress. She was also the key project manager for the Lions Club International Convention 2010, which saw 13,000 Lions Club members congregate in Sydney for ten days.

Sonja effortlessly builds strong relationships with clients, tailoring creative programs to suit each client's specific needs.
